<p>PURPOSE:To erase the damage of an automatic selecting mechanism and a tray by providing a notch, to which the finger of the automatic selecting mechanism can be engaged, to the tray to receive a medium. CONSTITUTION:A tray 1 has a notch 1a to be engaged by inserting a pair of fingers 4' of the automatic selecting mechanism, which is provided to a medium receiving box 3, in a closing state and by enlarging an interval inside. When the tray is held, one pair of the fingers 4' is inserted to the notch 1a in a state to close the interval and after that, the interval is enlarged in the notch 1a. Then, the fingers are engaged to the notch 1a and the tray 1 is held. The tray 1, which is held by a finger 4, is carried to a position, which is a purpose, by the automatic selecting mechanism with loading a medium 2. Thus, the tray 1 is prevented from being damaged by the collision of a part of the automatic selecting mechanism to a protruding hook of the tray.</p> |
