<p>PURPOSE:To easily position and mount a component without necessity of a complicate positioning mechanism by forming a simple structure in which a positioning mechanism is added to a sucking mechanism. CONSTITUTION:A hollow guide 1 is engaged with a sucking tube 4, and a sucking tube 12 is attached. A sucking slide pad 3 is slidably engaged with the tube 4, and movably engaged with a guide 2. The vacuum chamber 9 of the tube 4 is evacuated through the tube 12 in a negative pressure state. When the negative pressure is enhanced, the pad 3 rises in a state that it sucks a rectangular chip component 13, and further continuously rises at a sucking face 11 in a state that the component 13 is sucked to the pad 3 while laterally sliding. The opposite ridges 13a, 13b of the component 13 are brought into contact with the opposite guide faces 2a, 2b of the guide 2, the rise of the pad 3 is stopped, and it is positioned. Further, the component 13 is separated from the face 11 at the time of mounting on a printed substrate, and mounted at a predetermined position on the substrate.</p> |
