PURPOSE:To bring superconducting performance in full play by covering the surface of a core material with oxygen deficient perovskite type complex metal oxide of specific composition to make oxygen concentration easily adjustable. CONSTITUTION:A superconductive complex metal oxide 2 which has oxygen deficient perovskite type crystal structure composed by equation Lx My Cu3Og-z on the surface of a core material 1, and this surface is additionally covered with high polymer film. L in the quation in one of metal component selected from the group of alkali earth metals to which Ba and Sr are desirable, M is one kind of rare earth element selected from the groups of Y, La, etc., and Lu, and X is 1 to 3, Y is 0.01 to 1.5, and Z is 0 to 3. The kind of high polymer chemical is desirably of hydrophobic property so that no drops of water adhere to the wire surface. Thereby, the oxygen treatment after wire forming becomes easy and the performance as a superconducting material can be brought in full play. |
