PURPOSE:To obtain the titled thin-walled material, having excellent heat resistance, heat sealability, blocking resistance, flexibility, etc., and suitable as wrapping films, etc., by blending respective specific two kinds of ethylenic copolymers with a reaction accelerator for epoxy polymers in a specific proportion and molding the resultant blend. CONSTITUTION:The aimed thin-walled material obtained by blending (A) a copolymer consisting of an ethylenically unsaturated monocarboxylic acid, unsaturated dicarboxylic acid (anhydride) or further with a vinyl ester based compound, alkyl (meth)acrylate based compound or alkoxyalkyl (meth)acrylate based compound (hereinafter referred to as the third comonomer) with (B) a copolymer consisting of a double bond-containing monomer having one or more ethylene and epoxy groups or further the third comonomer and (C) a reaction accelerator for epoxy polymers and molding the resultant blend into 10mum-5mm thickness and having 25-75wt.% residue after extraction with boiling xylene. The components are preferably blended as follows. The component (A) in an amount of 1-99wt.% based on the total amount of the components (A) and (B) and the component (C) in an amount of 0.01-5.0pts.wt. based on 100pts.wt. total amount of the component (A) and (B). The molar ratio of epoxy groups in the component (B) to carboxyl groups (anhydride groups) in the component (A) is preferably 1:0.2-5.0. |
