PURPOSE:To obtain superior sharp image small in ground soiling by regulating to a specified value or lower the concentration of the total specified ions contained in organic layers including a photoconductive layer formed on a conductive substrate. CONSTITUTION:The organic layer including the photoconductive layer containing organic photoconductors is formed on the conductive substrate of a metal plate of Al, stainless steel, etc., and this organic layer contains inorganic ions, such as F<->, Cl<->, Br<->, NO3<->, NO2<->, PO4<3->, SO3<2->, SO4<2->, NH4<+>, and Na<+>, by preferably, regulating the concentration of these total ions to <=300 ppm and the concentration of the total ions including Li<+>, K<+>, Mg<2+>, and Ca<2+> to <=300 ppm, and each concentration was determined by the ion chromatography and summed up. |
