This invention is an improvement of a pulse cumbustor. This combustor comprises a combustion chamber, air supply and fuel supply pipes connected to the combustion chamber on the upstream side of the fuel-air mixture flow. An air intake port communicating with the air supply pipe is formed on the downstream side of the combustion chamber. An air-fuel mixing room is formed integrally with the air supply pipe, the air intake port and the connection pipe between the air supply pipes and the air intake port. The whole system of this combustor consists of the mixing room adjacent to the combustion chamber, a decoupler, a heat exchanger, a muffler and all sorts of connecting pipes.
