PURPOSE:To enable electrophotographic image making devices under the control of rental companies by providing a calendar means confirming a current date, an input means specifying a date, a means storing dates and a means inhibiting image making when a confirmed date exceeds a specified one. CONSTITUTION:Whether on-edge of a print key 90 exists or not is decided. If exists, a current date is discriminated whether it is before or after the date stored in memory. On condition that the current date is before the stored one, a copying start flag is set. Next, an image forming element for copying actions is turned on to operate a main motor M1, a development motor M2, an electrostatic charger 6 and a transfer charger 64. Moreover timers for stopping a feeding roll and starting exposure and scanning are operated. At the end of actions of timers, the operation is resumed to perform image forming processing. If an inputted date lapses, image forming is inhibited, and the device is returned to a rental company. |
