<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the biting action of a rolling contact gear, generated when a braking member brakes a reel stand by detaching mechanically the rolling contact gear from a reel gear always at the time of the braking of a reel. CONSTITUTION:The friction member 6b of a reel stand braking member 6 is fixed to the braking member 6 by an adhesive, etc., and is pressed and brought into contact with the braking cylinder part 2b of the reel stand at the tie of the braking. Besides, when the rolling contact gear 3 is engaged with the reel gear 2a at the time of the braking, a projection 6a, formed on the braking member 6, abuts the projection 5a, provided on a rotating member 5 for rolling contact, and rotates the rotating member 5 for rolling contact. Then, after performing action to detach the rolling contact gear 3 from the reel gear 2, it presses and brings the friction member 6b into contact with the braking cylinder part 2b of the reel, and brakes the reel 2. Thus, at the time of the reel braking, at first the rolling contact gear 3 is mechanically detached from the reel gear, and besides, the braking member is used in common for cutting off the transmission of reel rotation and for the reel braking. Thus, the bite of the rolling contact gear due to the reel braking can be prevented.</p> |
