PURPOSE:To make the inductance of a whole magnetic head small by arranging plural pieces of small gauge rod-shaped magnetic cores, and converging magnetic fields generated from the tip of them into one point, and performing magnetic field driving to these cores by means of parallel-connected coils. CONSTITUTION:The magnetic head 20 is constituted by arranging plural pieces of the small gauge rod-shaped cores 22 on a core supporting body 21. Since the core diameter of the respective small gage rod-shaped core 22 is set to be sufficiently small, the inductance generated in the respective small gauge rod-shaped core 22 can be suppressed to be low. Around the respective small gauge rod-shaped core 22, the coil 23 to generate respectively the magnetic field in the small gauge rod-shaped core 22 is wound, and when the respective coils 23 are connected in parallel, the inductance generated in the whole magnetic head 20 can be made to be 1/n for the number (n) of the small gauge rod-shaped cores 22. Thus, the convergence efficiency of the magnetic field can be elevated, and in addition, the inductance of the head itself can be made small. |
