发明名称 MANUFACTURE OF CERAMIC SUPERCONDUCTIVE WIRE
摘要 PURPOSE:To provide a ceramic superconductive wire, wherein film is oriented along the C-axis, by using as a core a single wire or cluster of wires with specific characteristics, furnishing a ceramic superconductive film at the outside of the core, followed by a heat treatment, irradiating atomic beam under the manufacturing process with this heat treatment, and at the same time performing covering. CONSTITUTION:As a core, such a non-ferromagnetic heat resistant material is used as having a melting point over the heat treatment temp. of 400-1000 deg.C, wherein the surface area shall be in perovskite type crystalline structure. Examples of material are SrTiO3, CaTiO3, etc. While this core is heated to 300 deg.C, its periphery is coated with a ceramic superconductive film of, for ex., Y1Ba2Cu3Ox by means of vacuum evaporation to a mean thickness of 10Angstrom . At the time of this evaporation, the superconductive film is C-axis oriented at all times stably along the film direction, so that an electron beam at 60eV and 10<13> electrons/cm<2>, for ex., is irradiated under the process to heat the core to 700 deg.C, and thus a film of 8000Angstrom thick is formed. Thereby a nucleus to crystallize the superconductive film is produced to allow smooth growth of C-axis orientation. Further a 4hr heat treatment is made under O2 atmosphere at 550 deg.C to accomplish a superconductive wire having a superconductive film in orthorhombic structure.
