The apparatus for detecting image taken by x-ray comprises a collimator (C) having a number of 2 dimensionally arrayed holes, a driver (Dr) for driving the collimator, an image detecting device (K) including image amplifying tube (II), a lens (L) and a camera tube (VD), a CPU for sweeping the horizontal scanning X-ray on the camera tube to pick up the maximum value as an image data of the corresponding pixel, and a memory (M) for storing pickup data value in the corresponding address.
