Creation of a swinging unit. The principle of the basic model and of further models is to protect the child from possible falls, but also to protect the other children moving around on the play area. To this end, creation of a model of cubic form produced from four bent tubes 3 which can be assembled by the child himself. The mounting device is achieved by introduction of the tubes and holding in position by studs mounted on resilient metal strips. The proposed structure thus permits several positionings according to the zone of attachment of the straps 1, as well as the placing of protective foam pieces 2 and 4. The modulable nature of the system also permits the creation of new swinging baskets (pods) or of seats, even a bosun's chair in the field of sailing, facilitating access aloft. <IMAGE>
