The fixing device, for a firearm barrel to the firearm body, comprises a U-shaped fork having its legs borne by the body. The barrel is borne by the fork bottom and is fixed there by an eccentric lever which urges the barrel against the fork bottom. The fork legs are fixed to the body by an axle pin which also pivotally connects the lever to the body. When the lever is turned through a vertical plate into its locking position, the barrel is urged against the fork bottom by an eccentric locking member provided on the lever.
