PURPOSE:To control printing density from a low temp. region to a high temp. region with equal accuracy, by linearily correcting the digital value outputted corresponding to the temp. of a thermal head with respect to the temp. change of the thermal head to output the same as an operation value and outputting an output value to the thermal head corresponding to said operation value. CONSTITUTION:The digital value Da outputted from a register 6 is applied to a digital operation value converting circuit 20 being the first converting means and converted to an operation value T corrected linearily with respect to the temp. change of a thermal head 1 to be outputted and the operation value T being the output of said circuit 20 is given to an operation address value converting circuit 21. Further, the address value AD outputted from the operation address value converting circuit 21 is given to a power value converting circuit 11 and a power control means 22 is constituted of the digital operation value converting circuit 20, the operation address value converting circuit 21 and the power value converting circuit 11. The second converting means is constituted of the operation address value converting circuit 21 and the power value converting circuit 11. |
