<p>PURPOSE:To shorten paper feed intervals as possible as it can which time intervals are ensured between image transfer sheets, by providing a means for inhibiting the operation of a paper feed mechanism unless the time count for a timer time is completed. CONSTITUTION:A microcomputer 27 delivers a start instructing signal to a driver 28 so as to drive a paper feed mechanism 20, and discriminates whether the paper feed mechanism 20 feeds an image transfer sheet without no paper jam or not, in accordance with an output signal transmitted from a paper entrance detecting section 25 through an entrance detecting device 26. If the image transfer sheet is normally fed, the computer 27 turns on a copy lamp 4 through the driver 28, and thereafter drives an optical system control device 29 so that an optical system 6 is made to scan by means of the driver 30. Further, a synchronizing mechanism 12 is driven by means of the driver 28 with a predetermined timing so as to feed the image transfer sheet to an image transfer position Q, and a start instruction is given to a timer circuit 31 in synchronization with the start of the synchronizing mechanism 12, and the drive of the paper feed mechanism 20 is inhibited until the timer circuit 31 times up.</p> |
