Packaging for compact discs, characterised in that it is composed, on the one hand, of a shell 1 of square outline containing at least one alcove 2 substantially in the format of a compact disc case and whose bottom 3 is provided with a wide window 4 and, on the other hand, of a cover 6 of transparent rigid material covering the said shell up to the plane of its bottom, the shell and the cover finally being joined rigidly together when the compact disc cases have been placed in the alcoves. <IMAGE>
