PURPOSE:To obtain a good image by using developer contg. binder resin and a polyester having the m. p. lower than the softening point of a toner contg. the binder resin as its constituting component to developer the electrostatic latent image formed on an amorphous silicon photosensitive body. CONSTITUTION:The electrostatic latent image formed on the amorphous silicon photosensitive body 20 is developed by the developer contg. the binder resin and the polyester having the m. p. lower than the softening point of the toner contg. the binder resin as its constituting component. The specific polyester used has the m. p. lower than the m. p. of the toner for the purpose of forming microdomains and the m. p. thereof is preferably 70-120 deg.C, more preferably 80-110 deg.C. The flowability of the developer is thereby improved and the effect of rubbing of a magnetic brush 27 is weakened. The image quality than heretofore is thus formed without spoiling the advantages of the amorphous silicon photosensitive body 20. |
