The fibre optic component comprises a light emitter, an optic fibre, and an optic fibre end. The optic filter comprises a light-transmitting surface coating (7) which covers at least part of the fibre end surface taken up by the core cross section, and to receive light from the light emitter (1) which is a laser, or a diode. The light transmission surface coating (7) is applied to the fibre end surface by evaporation, and has a transmittance which coincides with the light emitter spectrum but with a half width at least equal to that in the light spectra te. The optic axis in the light-emitter (1) coincides with the axial direction in the fibre end (4). (Provisional Basic advised week 84/15) |
