The automatic hand firearm comprises a body having a handle, a barrel, and a slide carried by a guide groove. The slide is provided with a return spring. The gun has a cocking and firing mechanism and an operating handle for cocking the slide. The operating handle is joined to the body by a slide member. This allows pivoting of the handle so that it is turnable from a transport position parallel to the barrel to a shooting position.
