The invention relates to the concept and the manufacture of pipes made of polyolefin resin, intended to constitute pipelines of great lengths, by assembly using heat-weldable sleeves 3. Each of the pipes 1 and 2 consists of a wall of cylindrical tubular shape, which comprises two coaxial layers of plastic: a core 4 on the inner side and a surface layer 5 on the outer side. The core consists of a first material resulting from the crosslinking in a moist atmosphere of a composition based on a polyolefin resin grafted by reaction with a monomer bearing at least one hydrolysable group in order to give rise to condensation reactions, such as an unsaturated alkoxysilane. The surface layer consists of a second material comprising essentially a polyolefin resin in thermoplastic form and capable of being heat-welded to itself. <IMAGE> |
