PURPOSE:To remove all necessity for regulation of recording head impressing voltage, concentration of toner developing solution, etc., to make recording density constant even though a plot mode is switched between a high resolution mode and a standard mode, by establishing a means by which recording density is controlled according to an output speed of a plot drawing. CONSTITUTION:When an electrostatic recording paper 1 passes a recording head 2, it is charged by electric charge according to a plot pattern data, and development is performed by moistening by toner developing liquid 5 injected on a developing surface of a developing part 3a when it passes the developing part 3a. Then, when a ratio in plot drawing output speed of a high resolution mode to a standard mode is 1 to 4, a length of the developing surface coming in contact with the electrostatic recording paper 1 by decreasing a vertical motion part 9 as given in the figure (a) when the high resolution mode is taken in this case, is made L from a toner developing liquid injection port. Further, when the standard mode is selected, a length of the development by raising the vertical motion part 9 to an original position as given in the figure (b), is made 4L from the toner developing liquid injection port. |
