<p>A groove shape (GR) on a three-dimensionally curved surface and a groove depth specifying curve (GRC) representing the relation between a distance, dk, from one end and a groove depth, hk, at that distance are inputted and the distance, dk, from one end of the GRC is determined from the following equation: dk = $(1,3)$k.Lj/Li, where Li is the full length of the groove shape, $(1,3)$ is the distance from one end of the groove shape and Lj is the full length of the GRC. The groove depth, hk, at a distance, dk, from one end is determined from the GRC and NC data for groove cutting are prepared from this groove depth, hk, as the groove depth at a point distance, $(1,3)$k, away from one end of the GR.</p> |
