PURPOSE:To eliminate a coolant piping, duct, drain pipe, etc., from a unit and make it freely movable by absorbing the heat source for room cooling and room heating from the air in a living room and making the unit one body in a personal air conditioner. CONSTITUTION:During room cooling operation a gaseous coolant which is discharged from a compressor 1 passes through a fourway valve 2 and enters a heat exchanger 3 and exchanges heat with the air 12 which is introduced by a blower 9 to become a liquid coolant. At this time the air 12 of a living room that has exchanged its heat is again discharged as shown by the arrow mark 14 into the living room. On the other hand, the liquid coolant passes through an expansion valve 4 to have its pressure reduced and enters a heat exchanger 5, and exchanges its heat with the air 12 and passes through the four-way valve 2 and returns to the compressor 1. The air that was cooled by the heat exchanger 5 satisfies the pleasant feeling of persons 15 who are subjected to the air conditioning. Further, the drain water that was generated is led from a drain receiver 6 to a drain receiver 6', and passes through a nozzle 11 by a pump 8 and discharged into the living room in atomized state. During room heating the four-way valve 2 is switched to send the warm air which has been exchanged in the heat exchanger 5 to the persons 15 who are subjected to the air conditioning. |
