PURPOSE:To heighten the mechanical strength of a weld zone by a method wherein the weld zone at a part of a molded item is formed by injection-molding a composition consisting of polyarylene sulfide resin, the specified silane compound and inorganic filler. CONSTITUTION:Polyacrylene sulfide resin composition is prepared by blending 100pts.wt. of polyarylene sulfide, 0.01-5pts.wt. of one or more silane compounds, which are selected from the group consisting of epoxyalkoxysilane, mercaptoalkoxysilane and vinylalkoxysilane, and 0-400pts.wt. of inorganic filler with one another. Said resin composition is molded by injection so as to form a molded item, a welded zone is made at least on a part thereof. The molded item has at least a portion, at which two or more flow fronts meet and weld together in a mold cavity. |
