The body of a cable reel is provided with lugs for reception of an anchor plate (20) which is moulded with bridges (24, 26) and projections (30, 32) which define when viewed in plan a circular aperture for reception of a rod which may be driven into the ground. The reel may thus be rotatably mounted clear of the ground at any desired location. The plate (20) may also be received on a wall bracket to allow use of the reel in a fixed location or storage thereof. The wall bracket also receives the rod when not in use and a belt clip having a portion corresponding to the plate (20) and which allows the reel to be suspended from the user's belt. |
