CRYSTALLIZATION APPARATUS FOR METAL STRIPPING

The crystallizer is used to convert metal ions into metallic fluoride by mixing and contacting a metal ion containing organic solvent and a fluoride compound stripping solution, and to strip the metal ions. A cooling zone is provided at the lower part of the crystallizer. A forced circulating zone having at least one blowout nozzle is provided at the base of the cooling zone. The forced circulating zone provides the release solution with swing flow. The forced circulation zone prevents the precipated crystal from adhering to the wall of the crystallizer and from accumulating on the lower part. This allows continuous operation of the crystallizer.
