PURPOSE:To obtain high-accuracy photographic range and power information, by correcting the output of a position detecting means so that its error is canceled according to the error factor of the output, and obtaining the photographic range or power information. CONSTITUTION:The photographic lens is provided with a position detecting means 14 which outputs a signal corresponding to the range reference position and a microcomputer 1 which computes the photographic range or power according to a focusing detecting means 13 which outputs a defocusing quantity signal corresponding to the distance between an expected image formation position and an actual image formation position. Then when the photographic range and power are calculated from the pieces of output information of those means, the microcomputer 1 corrects the difference between the infinity focusing reference position of the position detecting means 14 and the infinity focusing reference position of the focusing detecting means 13. Consequently, the position detection output is so corrected as to have no error and the correct range information or power information is obtained. |
