The connecting anchor for the leaves (1, 2) of a two-leaf masonry structure comprises two releasably connected parts (10, 20). In order, when there is a defined spacing between the masonry-wall leaves, to permit unobstructed relative displacement, in particular in the vertical direction (different heat expansions, settling, shrinkage, etc.), one anchor part (10) exhibits an eyelet (11) which slidingly encloses a vertical web (21) on the other anchor part (20). The latter is anchored in the masonry structure by means of arms (22, 24) which extend from the two web ends and each form an anchor bow (23, 25) in mutually perpendicular planes. The eyelet part (10) may likewise exhibit an anchor bow (13) or (in a variant) a screw thread for an anchor dowel. The two parts (10, 20) are preferably produced as bent parts, using round wire. By virtue of the movable eyelet/web connection, the conduction of heat via the connecting anchor is also virtually stopped. <IMAGE>
