An adaptable laser apparatus has a resonant cavity (6) which comprises an assembly of two different reflectors (7, 8) and within which is arranged an active medium (2) capable of emitting a radiation under the action of excitation means connected to said active medium. According to the invention, said apparatus is remarkable in that it comprises at least one additional resonant cavity (20) of similar structure to the preceding, comprising an assembly of two different reflectors (21), and in that means (23) are provided for controlling the displacement of said resonant cavities (6 and 20) so that one or other of said cavities can be brought coaxially to said active medium. |
