摘要 The invention describes a method with which a contactless positioning and control device, which works by means of ultrasound transit-time measurement time, can be considerably improved and its application in many fields made possible. According to the invention, this improvement is achieved in that the current position is calculated between the individual ultrasound measurements by integrating the setting variables, by which means the otherwise typical dead-times disappear. The ultrasound distance measuring device furthermore examines only the calculated position for echoes, with the result that in addition the reliability with respect to disturbance by external noise or suspended particles (in the case of measurements in liquid) rises considerably and only a small measurement error can arise even in the case of severe disturbances.
