<p>PURPOSE: To enable natural voices to be vocalized by providing a queuing register for holding a leading address in a succeeding voice data unit and thereby properly adjusting silent time between voice data units such as blocks or words. CONSTITUTION: The queuing register 2-2 of a voice compilation and synthesis equipment 2 holds each leading address of N pieces of voice data units as a queue. Then, with a voice synthesis action starting, a voice synthesis starting signal S2 is sent to a voice synthesis circuit 2-4, which generates a voice data unit completion signal S3; hence, the queuing register 2-2 sends the leading address of the initial voice data unit to a pointer register 2-3 of the voice compilation and synthesis equipment 2, holding as a queue the leading address of the remaining N-1 pieces of voice data units. As a result, silent time is adjusted properly between the voice data units such as blocks or words, enabling natural voices to be vocalized.</p> |
