发明名称 CHARGING METHOD FOR SECONDARY CELL
摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain the lifetime of a cell practically long enough for cycle lifetime, float lifetime, self-discharge lifetime and the like by charging a secondary cell with the uppermost voltage so set that the potential of a polyaniline positive electrode is 3.4V relative to an Li/Li<+> reference electrode or in a negative potential region therefrom. CONSTITUTION:In changing a secondary cell, the upper limit of charging voltage is so set that the potential of a polyaniline positive electrode is 3.4V relative to an Li/Li<+> reference electrode, or a negative potential range therefrom. In an actual charging process for the secondary cell, the upper limit of the voltage is set, depending upon the type of a negative electrode material used. In setting the upper limit of the voltage, said voltage of 3.4V may be shifted by electrode voltage as a ratio of Li/Li<+> in the negative electrode. For example, when an alloy of Al-li is used as a negative electrode, the electrode voltage of an Al-Li/ Li<+> electrode is approximately +0.3V compared with the Li/Li<+> electrode, and 3.1V is taken as the uppermost voltage.
