PURPOSE:To prevent a center housing from making contact with a rotary sleeve, by forming a inflow port communicated with a working chamber in the center housing so that the air in introduced into an air bearing chamber through the inflow port so as to increase the flow rate of air around the inner peripheral surface of the center housing adapted to make contact with the rotary sleeve. CONSTITUTION:A rotary shaft 12 integrally incorporated with a rotor 10 in a compressor is supported by bearings 18, 19 in front and rear housings 21, 23. Vanes 16 are retractably fitted in a plurality of grooves 15 formed in a rotor 10. Further, the forward end of each vane 16 is made in contact with a rotary sleeve 30 incorporated in a center housing 22 and surrounding the rotor 10. In this arrangement, there are formed high and low pressure holes 44, 55 which are extended from discharge and suction chamber 41, 52 to one end face of the center housing 22 through the rear housing 23. Further, there are formed inflow and outflow ports 71, 72 which are extended in the axial direction from the one end face of the center housing 22 making contact with the holes 44, 45. |
