PURPOSE:To obtain a diazo film used for an intermediate original having advantages of both of film and paper, by pasting specified extremely thin paper onto one side of a synthetic resin film, and forming a photosensitive layer on the other side of it using an adhesive. CONSTITUTION:The present diazo film comprises a synthetic resin film 1, extremely thin paper 2 pasted to one side of the film 1, and a photosensitive layer 3 formed on the other side of the film 1 using an adhesive layer 3, and said paper 2 has 5-25g/m<2> basis weight, and it is subjected to treatment for giving hydrophilic properties. The film 1 is hardly affected by humidity and temp. and e.g. almost free of curling tendency, while the paper 2 having such basis weight is especially susceptible to humidity and tends to curl, and when both are pasted to each other, even the film 1 curls affected by the paper 2. To avoid the effect of humidity, the paper 2 is given hydrophilic properties by coating it with a hydrophilic agent or such a resin. |
