PURPOSE: To remarkably facilitate manufacture and guarantee necessary current conveying force and electric stability by mixing a copolymer into a powdery, homogeneous superconductive material after a finishing heat treatment, and machining this mixture into a belt-like body or a thin film by rolling or the other drawing process. CONSTITUTION: A copolymer constituted of ethylene and vinyl acetate in particular is mixed into a finish heat-treated powdery superconductive material, e.g. YBa2 Cu3 O7 , the mixture is rolled into a belt-like body, and the intended flexibility and good superconductive characteristic can be attained. An industrial superconductor must have high critical current conveying force, and it is advantageous to mix a fine dispersible metal oxide having high negative free connecting enthalpy into a powdery, homogeneous superconductive material. A metal wire, a wire piece, a thin plate, and/or a wire lattice having high conductivity are combined during the rolling or the other drawing process of a material having an organic and oxide additive for electrically stabilizing the superconductive state during operation. |
