<p>PURPOSE:To attain high density recording by utilizing a recording head for an audio signal so as to apply frequency multiplex recording to additional information into a substantial audio signal. CONSTITUTION:A clock data from a clock circuit 16 is converted into a bit rate in matching with a rate of a reference clock CLK to form a data DT, which is used as the additional information and subject to frequency multiple recording on an audio track of the tape. In case of reproduction, the multiplexed clock data is extracted from the reproduced audio signal read from the audio track and inserted to the pattern of the reproduced video signal or processed singly to use it for a prescribed object. Thus, desired additional information is recorded with high density without using a control track or missing of the video signal.</p> |
