<p>PURPOSE:To provide a water-color ink containing a specific water-soluble dye, giving a recorded image having excellent water-resistance and light-resistance, exhibiting excellent magenta color tone and usable in ink-jet recording without causing clogging of nozzle. CONSTITUTION:The objective ink contains at least one kind of a water-soluble dye of formula I [Ar is group of formula II (R1 is H, alkyl, alkoxy, hydroxyalkyl, halogen or acetyl; R2 is alkanolamino, morpholyl, OH or amino; lis 0 or 1)] and contains a quaternary ammonium and quaternary phosphonium of formula III (M is N or P; R3-R6 are 1-4C alkyl, hydroxyalkyl or halogenated alkyl) as the counter ion X of said dye.</p> |
