PURPOSE:To smoothen a peak power load in a daytime and a bottom load at night in a multistoried building by dispersively disposing toroidal superconducting coils at the periphery under the ground, and supporting electromagnetic forces generated in the coils by a building structure. CONSTITUTION:Toroidal superconducting coils 3 are dispersively disposed at the periphery of a multistoried building 1 with the underground structure 2 of the building 1 as a strength member. Since electromagnetic forces 4 generated from the coils 3 are directed toward a center, when the coils 3 are disposed at the outer periphery of the flat surface of the building 1, stresses from the exterior to the structure 2 are supported by an external structure 5. Then, inexpensive night power can be stored in the coils 3, and can be discharged in daytime of demanding time. Thus, peak power load in daytime and bottom load at night in the building 1 can be smoothened. |
