The pressure applying device is for pressing surface coating material onto a supporting material pre-milled with respect to shape and is equipped with a number of spring-loaded pressing rollers (1), which are arranged respectively offset one behind the other in the direction of continuous operation, act in staggered fashion on the surface material and continuously press the said material against the pre-milled shape of the supporting material. In order to further develop such a device in such a way that as many different edge or profile shapes as possible can be worked with one and the same pressure applying device, i.e. without set-up times, the pressing rollers (1) are designed or suspended in such a way that they are movable within limits with respect to the supporting material both in the direction of pressing and in the axial direction. <IMAGE> |
