PURPOSE:To provide the titled traveller outstanding in both heat and wear resistances, little in scorch development, capable of stable operation in the high-speed fine spinning sector, containing specified proportion of C, Cr, Mo and V, the rest constituting of high speed tool steel containing iron etc. CONSTITUTION:The objective traveller consisting of 0.6-1.2wt.% of C, 3.0-5.0wt.% of Cr, 1.5-8.0wt.% of Mo, 0.5-4.0wt.% of V and the rest of high speed tool steel containing iron and impurities. Coating the traveller surface such as nickel plating, dispersion plating or resin coating would enhance the wear resistance and compatibility of the traveller. |
