PURPOSE:To fit firmly a silicone rubber material to base cloth unitarily, by a method wherein the base cloth is mounted on the top of a mold into which liquid silicone rubber has been cast and the liquid silicone rubber is vulcanized and molded under a state where the base cloth is pressed against a mold side. CONSTITUTION:An addition reaction type liquid silicone rubber (a) defoamed beforehand is cast into a mold 1. The upper part of the liquid silicone rubber (a) within the mold is scraped off with a squeegee 8 and depressed a little lower than the top 2 of the mold 1. Then a bathing suit (b) is mounted on the top 2 of the mold 1 and pressurized with a press 9, to which a cushioning material 10 has been stuck. With this construction, the bathing suit (b) is stuck close to the liquid silicone rubber (a) within the mold 1 without a gap extending over the whole area and the liquid silicone rubber (a) within the mold 1 is infiltrated into spaces among fibers of the bathing suit (b). When the liquid silicone rubber (a) is vulcanized and molded while keeping a state where the bathing suit (b) is mounted on the top 2 of the mold 1 as it is, a solid mark where the liquid silicone rubber (a) encroches upon the bathing suit (b) and integrated firmly is obtained. |
