CONSTITUTION:Ink in an ink tank 2 is heated by a heater 9. When a timer 8 indicates 'time out', the contents of a storage device 7 are cleared. Next, the ink level of the ink tank 2 is detected by an ink level detector 3. At that time, when the ink level of the ink tank 2 is above a prearranged level, the supply of a solid ink 9 stops. When the ink level is below a prearranged level, the solid ink 9 is supplied to the ink tank 2. After this, the ink is heated by the heater 5 of the ink tank 2, and this ink supply data is stored in the storage device 7. When the timer 7 indicates 'time out', the stored data of a storage device 6 is cleared, interpreting that the ink of the ink tank 2 has melted, and the supply of the ink is terminated. |
