PURPOSE:To make coiling state of coiled yarn on the surface of fasciated spun yarn proper and to obtain fasciated spun yarn having high tensile strength and high qualities, by bringing a lightly touching material rotating and running at high speed to the fasciated spun yarn. CONSTITUTION:Sliver S is drafted by a drafting mechanism 5, fasciated spinning is carried out by successively passed the drafted sliver through a pair of air jetting nozzles 6a and 6b forming rotary air flows in the mutually opposite directions, the yarn is sent by a delivery roller 8, then brought into contact with a lightly touching material 30 and wound by a winding mechanism 10. The lightly touching material 30 consists of a disc 29 which has a V-shaped channel on the outer periphery and is positively driven and has peripheral speed higher than yarn speed. |
