PURPOSE:To manufacture a positive electrode having no deterioration in performance during drying and storage and having good wettability to an electrolyte by applying paste having specific composition to a metal core to form a positive electrode base body, supporting a specific metal in a specified electrode to form a positive electrode precursor, and drying it so as to leave the small amount of electrolyte. CONSTITUTION:Paste comprising metal chalcogen compound powder, conductive material powder, and an organic binder is applied to a metallic core, and dried to form a positive electrode base body. Metallic lithium is supported on the positive electrode base body in a nonaqueous electrolyte solution to form a positive electrode precursor, and the precursor is dried to such a degree that it is just wetted with the nonaqueous electrolyte solution to form a positive electrode. The positive electrode for nonaqueous solvent secondary battery in which deterioration in the performance of the electrode is prevented during drying and storage by residual electrolyte solution and the affinity of the electrode with electrolyte is good is obtained. |
