PURPOSE:To make it possible to manufacture a thin matrix having high strength by molding a mixture of a matrix material and plasticizer, and then removing the plasticizer. CONSTITUTION:80-100pts.wt. plasticizer comprising dialkyl phthalate such as dimethyl phthalate is added to 100pts.wt. dried powder of matrix material. The mixture is kneaded with a pressure type mixer. The kneaded material is rolled, and the plasticizer is extracted with a solvent such as methyl alcohol. A thin fuel cell matrix having high strength is obtained. |
