PURPOSE:To obtain a coater capable of uniformly applying a high-viscosity material and eliminating adhesion to an area except application target, by setting a material feed roller and a return roller at the bottom of a storage tank for the viscous material and laying a coating roller under the raw material feeder roller. CONSTITUTION:The bottom of a storage tank 12 to be packed with a viscous material is opened and the opening part is equipped with a material feed roller 16 and a return roller 20 in parallel. Then a coating roller 18 is laid under the material feed roller 16 in contact with the material feed roller 16. A doctor blade 22 is set along the lower edge of a front wall 12' of the storage rank 12 in such a way that the doctor blade is connected to a flexible part 24 and an adjusting mechanism 25 to regulate the gap between the doctor blade 22 and the material feed roller 16 is laid. |
