An AM radio-receiver suitable for being worn on a person's wrist, the receiver comprising a bracelet or strap, a bar antenna, an oscillation block containing an oscillating element serving as a reference oscillation source, the bar antenna and the oscillation block being disposed in the longitudinal direction of the bracelet or strap so that they are spaced from each other so as to reduce the influence of pulses generated by said oscillating element or associated pulses on the bar antenna, and at least one loudspeaker disposed in the space between the bar antenna and the oscillation block. |
