PURPOSE:To obtain a superconductive wire having an excellent superconductive characteristic and a long size by inserting a compound body in which a thin film layer containing a superconductor is formed on a substrate and the compound body is spirally wound with metal or a metallic rod-state body as a core, is metal or a metallic tube to be linearly formed. CONSTITUTION:A compound body 3 is formed in which a superconductor thin film layer 2 is deposited on a long size substrate, for instance, a Cu plate 1 by, for instance, a sputtering method. A rod like body 6 is formed with the body 3 spirally wound with a metallic rod 4 as a core, and with the spirally wound body 3 inserted in a metallic tube as a stabilizing material, for instance, a copper tube 5. A superconductive wire having an excellent characteristic with a deposition superconductor can be obtained with degressive process applied to the body 6 to be formed to a linear body, and with heat treatment applied to the linear body. |
