<p>This invention is a solenoid valve for automatic transmission. This solenoid valve consists of a housing, a pole and pole piece, an insert, a ball and a spring. The ball is pressed by the spring fitted in the center hole of the pole, and is interposed between the seats of the pole and the insert having an axial hole, and has limited movement. The insert inserted in the hollow axial extention of the housing. The housing and the pole define an annular space containing a magnetic coil assembly. When fluid is applied to the hole of the insert and the coil is de-energised, the spring holds the ball against the seat of the insert and prevents flow through the hole in the insert.</p> |
