PURPOSE:To improve the working efficiency and sanitation in a factory by installing an automatic tool replacing device and a read/write adapter for reading and writing the tool information onto a tool holding hook of a switching arm. CONSTITUTION:An automatic tool replacing device 3 in which an opened port part 15b for a holding hook is turned by 90 deg. and set upwardly at an operator's side position when a switching arm 15 is shifted between a tool switching position on a magazine side and an operator side position is installed. Further, a read/write adapter 18 for reading and writing the tool information is installed onto the tool holding hook 15a of the switching arm 15. Therefore, reading and writing of the tool information are carried out automatically when the tools are replaced, and the trouble on the replacement of tools is eliminated, and the automatic operation is permitted from the first working, and the working efficiency can be improved. Further, the operator can easily handle the tools, and the operator's waist is protected from being damaged, and the sanitation in a factory can be improved. |
